Our Vision
Being in Hawai'i affords us access to one the world's last nearly untouched tropical wilderness, Hawai'i Island. It's very namesake, Hawai'iki, means paradise on earth. Hawai'i Island is home to eleven of the thirteen climate zones and to this day people can find their own piece of paradise, if they know where to look. That's where we come in, our vision is to guide you to the paradise you seek and capture your experience so that it lasts a lifetime.
Our Origin Story
David got his first camera in 1995 and quickly discovered his deep passion for capturing moments of the world around him through his lens. In 2001 David started his first portrait photography business. He went on to study at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Ca. In 2007 David moved to Hawai'i, where he worked as an international freelance photojournalism for several years before founding Aina Adventures in 2012. Over the last 14 years Aina Adventures has gathered extensive experience and a well rounded reputation of excellence in Adventure Portrait Photography and Guided Tours.
